With an 11 hectare vineyard, it pursues the mission of producing high quality wines &#8211; recovering the wine traditions of Alcoba\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Returning to the center of Alcoba\u00e7a, we will make a small stop in the old Capuchos Convent or Convent of Santa Maria Magdalena and its Church of Franciscan architecture built in an old farm of the monastery of Alcoba\u00e7a. We also will make a quick visit to the ruins of the Castle of Alcoba\u00e7a, whose origin generates some controversy from where we can enjoy a beautiful view over the city, including its famous monastery, the surrounding fields and the Sierra de Candeeiros.<\/p>\n<p>In the center we will visit the Monastery of Santa Maria de Alcoba\u00e7a, or Royal Abbey of Santa Maria one of the first Cistercian monastic foundations in Portuguese territory, with its construction that began in 1178. It is currently classified as a World Heritage by UNESCO and it was elected as one of the seven wonders of Portugal.
