SIERRA, JURASSIC AND SEA (Full day)

We start our visit at the top of Pinhôa, a Portuguese village where it is possible to observe closely five fully recovered windmills very characteristics of the West region.

We continue towards the Lourinhã Museum for a tour full of Archeology, Ethnography and Paleontology, with a highlight in this last one in which Lourinhã is rich in fossils of the Upper Jurassic. Free time for walking and lunch.

After lunch we continue on a pleasant journey along the coast towards Peniche, one of the largest Portuguese traditional fishing ports, where we cannot miss the Cape Carvoeiro with its Lighthouse, from where you can see the Nau dos Corvos and Berlenga Island and also a passage through the historic center with its fortress built in the 19th century.

We finish our visit surrounded by centuries of history inscribed in all its architectural, historical and religious heritage that the Medieval village of Óbidos keeps among its walls. Return.
